  1.                       eBayWatch/2 - readme
  2.  
  3. eBayWatch/2 is an auction management tool for OS/2 users. It works solely
  4. with the eBay auction site. It is meant to aid the user in searching for,
  5. monitoring and bidding on auction items.
  6.  
  7. Required - 
  8. 1) hpfs partition
  9. 2) rexxutil.dll and rxsock.dll in dpath 
  10. 3) must start from its work directory, or a program object which sets the
  11.    work directory
  12.

  14. Installation -
  15.  
  16. Unzip into its own directory
  17.  
  18. Run ebwatch.exe, which will complete an initial setup and then start the
  19. program.
  20.  
  21. Once setup, you can use the eBayWatch/2 program object to start ebwatch.
  22.  
  23. The initial setup will need to be completed by entering your eBay user
  24. ID (name) and password on Settings page 1. Your password need not be
  25. entered if you do not use the program to place bids. Your user ID is
  26. used as part of the scan process to retrieve your current bids.

  28. While all other options will default to a usable state, you will at
  29. least want to enter your own search options. You may want to run with
  30. the sample searches before beginning to configure your own searches.

  32. Help is available on most program pages and fields, and help tips are
  33. usually provided on the message bar at the bottom of the pages.
