Warp Mixer
The Warp Mixer lets you control the audio settings for your sound card. Since
it uses MCI, it will work on any MMPM/2 driver which supports the new mixer API
(right now only the Business Audio). Two views are provided for the mixer:
Playback View
Record View
Both of these views can be customized.
The Information Area displays context-sensitive help as user moves the mouse
pointer over various portions of the window.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Playback View ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The playback view controls volume levels and mute states for the following
mixer lines:
Master Audio
Compact Disk
MIDI
Microphone
Line In
Wave
3D-Audio - Space
3D-Audio - Center
This view can be customized.
Note Some audio cards can not support all of these mixer lines. When support
can be determined within the program, unsupported lines are disabled.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.1. Master Audio ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Master Audio control adjusts the volume level and mute state of the
system-wide settings for all devices.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.2. Compact Disk ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The CD control adjusts the volume level and mute state for playback through the
Internal Audio Connector on the sound card.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.3. MIDI ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The MIDI control adjusts the volume level and mute state for playback of MIDI
files.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.4. Microphone ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Microphone control adjusts the volume level and mute state for playback
through the Microphone.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.5. Line In ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Line In control adjusts the volume level and mute state for playback
through the Line In.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.6. Wave ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Wave control adjusts the volume level and mute state for playback of wave
files.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.7. 3D-Audio - Space ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Space control makes 3D-Audio space adjustments during playback of audio
files and devices.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.8. 3D-Audio - Center ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Center control makes 3D-Audio center adjustments during playback of audio
files and devices.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Record View ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Record View controls gain levels and connect/disconnect states for the
following mixer lines.

MIDI
Microphone
Line In
This view can be customized.

The CD control adjusts the gain level and connect/disconnect state for
recording from the Internal Audio Connector on the sound card.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.2. MIDI ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The MIDI control adjusts the gain level and connect/disconnect state for
recording from MIDI files.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.3. Microphone ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Microphone control adjusts the gain level and connect/disconnect state for
recording from the Microphone.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.4. Line In ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Line In control adjusts the gain level and connect/disconnect state for
recording from the Line In.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Information Area ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Information Area displays context-sensitive help when the mouse pointer
moves over different portions of the application window.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. Context menu ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
When the mouse button 2 is clicked on the Warp Mixer application a Context menu
pops up. The Context menu has the following options:
View
- Playback
Changes the main application window to Playback view.
- Record
Changes the main application window to Record view.
- Customize...
Displays a dialog that allows the user to customize the playback and
record views.
Window
Provides window settings.
Help
Displays a help window.
Close
Closes the application.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Customize Dialog ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
To customize the Playback and Record views, use the Customize Dialog.
From the Warp Mixer main panel.
1. Select View from the menu bar
2. Select Customize...
This dialog allows the user to configure which mixer lines are displayed by
selecting or deselecting the controls.
