--------------------------------
Welcome to Quick Picture for OS/2

the QuickCam images can be saved as Bitmap, JPEG, or GIF files.
The registration fee for Quick Picture for OS/2 is $25.00(US). You can
register this product through BMT Micro (see the file BMTORDER.TXT in the
same directory as this READ.ME).
This file contains information you need to install Quick Picture for OS/2,
and additional information not included in the product documentation.

Before You Install Quick Picture for OS/2
-----------------------------------------
Software Requirements
---------------------
QCAMDD.SYS (the device driver required by Quick Picture for OS/2) will
work with all versions of OS/2 (including OS/2 Warp) starting with
Version 2.11. Versions 2.0 and 2.1 can also be made to work if the
PRINT01.SYS (parallel port device driver) is updated to the OS/2 2.11
(or CSDXR06200) level.
Hardware Requirements
---------------------
Quick Picture for OS/2 should work with any PC that meets the software
requirements and that has at least one parallel port. You must of
course have a Connectix QuickCam connected as per the QuickCam User's
guide. This version of Quick Picture for OS/2 will only work with the
original (black and white) QuickCam. A version for the Color QuickCam
is in the works.
