  28.                               REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  31.             A PMsndX registration licenses you to use the product on a
  32.             regular basis.  Individual users need register only one copy
  33.             of PMsndX for personal use.  Registration may be purchased
  34.             in levels as explained below.  Upgrades are NOT
  35.             automatically sent to registered users.

  37.             PMsndX is not public domain software, nor is it free
  38.             software. PMsndX is copyright (C) 1994 by William S. Hiles.
  39.             Non-registered users are granted a limited license to use
  40.             PMsndX on a trial basis fo the purpose of determining
  41.             whether PMsndX is suitable for their needs.  Use of PMsndX,
  42.             except for this limited purpose requires registration.  Use
  43.             of non-registered copies of PMsndX by any person, business,
  44.             corporation, governmental agency or other institution is
  45.             strictly forbidden.

  47.             Registration grants a user the right to use PMsndX on a
  48.             single computer.  A registered user may use the program on a
  49.             different computer, but may not use the program on more than
  50.             one computer at the same time.

  52.             The seven files, pmsndx.exe, pmsndx.hlp, readme.txt,
  53.             history.txt, license.txt, order.txt and file_id.diz must
  54.             always be included during distribution.  Any alterations to
  55.             the files must be clearly documented.  No changes may be
  56.             made to the ABOUT screen or any of the copyright
  57.             information.

  59.             Passwords provided to registered users may not be
  60.             transferred to other users nor may they be used on any
  61.

  66.             computer other than that used by the person who holds the
  67.             registration.

  69.             Users are granted permission to collect fees for the
  70.             distribution of PMsndX, (such as BBS's that have a
  71.             membership fee or a downloading charge, or FTP sites that
  72.             sell cdrom versions of their archives) but users are
  73.             specifically prohibited from selling PMsndX as a product or
  74.             bundling PMsndX with other products that are then sold.  it
  75.             may be given away for free.

  77.             Unless otherwise negotiated in writing with the Author,
  78.             registered versions of PMsndX may not be distributed in part
  79.             or in whole.  Registrations are provided to individuals (or
  80.             for site licensing as negotaited at time or registration)
  81.             and may not be distributed or transferred.

  83.             PMsndX may not be distributed in conjunction with any other
  84.             products unless authorized by the author in writing.

  86.             Distributors of public domain or user supported software may
  87.             distribute copies of PMsndX subject to the above conditions.

  89.             Registration assumes  you have  already  received a  copy of
  90.             the program from whatever  source.   We do not  provide
  91.             diskettes  or manuals.    The  registration fee  covers
  92.             only  the  use of  the program.   Any fees for diskettes,
  93.             postage, and packaging are due in addition to the
  94.             registration fees.

  96.             USERS OUTSIDE  THE US: Please send checks drawn on US banks
  97.             in US dollars.

  99.                           Corporate and Quantity Purchases

  102.             All corporate, business, government  or other commercial
  103.             users of PMsndX  must  be registered.  Corporate or  site
  104.             licensing is available.
  105.  
  106.             Licensing  agreements  allow  duplication  and
  107.             distribution  of specific  numbers  of  copies  within  the
  108.             licensed institution. Duplication  of multiple  copies  is
  109.             not  allowed except  through execution of a licensing
  110.             agreement.
