  1. This is the short list of important items concerning LightWaves. 
  2. The file LIGHTWAV.DOC contains a fully detailed description of the 
  3. entire program.  
  4.  
  5. To print the documentation (16 pages), use a DOS or OS/2 Text Window 
  6. and use the following command: 'copy lightwav.doc prn'.  If you drag the
  7. documentation file to the printer object, OS/2 will impose new margins and
  8. reformat the document.  Using a DOS or OS/2 text editor should also work.
  9.  
  10. The file PRES.BAK is a backup copy of the PRES.DEF file which contains
  11. the information needed to start the program.
  12.  
  13. LightWaves v1.0 and any 1.X version is FREEWARE
  14. LightWaves v1.0 will only display Windows Bitmap (*.BMP) files.
  15. Lightwaves v1.0 will only play Wave (.WAV) audio and MIDI (.MID) files.
  16. LightWaves is a MultiThreaded, PM application.

  18. PRESENTATION NOTE
  19. =================
  20. When a presentation is started, LightWaves starts with a black screen. Just
  21. press the Spacebar to proceed.  Each presentation will end in the same way.

  23. INSTALATION
  24. ===========
  25. To install lightwaves, simply uncompress the files, create a directory
  26. for it and place all the files in that directory.

  28. Create an icon on your desktop for LightWaves or run LightWaves from 
  29. the command line like so:

  31.      Example  C:\directory\lightwav.exe
  32.  
  33. Where 'C:\directory\' is the drive and directory in which LightWaves 
  34. was installed, 'lightwav.exe' is the executable file name.
