DSMI/2 LICENSE AGREEMENT AND COPYRIGHT NOTICE
COMMERCIAL OR NON-COMMERCIAL LICENSE
This license only applies if it is signed by both you and Julien Pierre,
author of DSMI/2.
Digital Sound & Music Interface for OS/2 (hereafter DSMI/2) is protected by
US and international copyright laws. Making any copies of it is considered
a copyright violation with one exception. You may take copies for archival
purposes to protect your investment from loss. You may not sell or give away
this product.
This license guarantees you the right to use DSMI/2 in your

[ ] commercial
software.
This license is valid for
[ ] one product
[ ] any number of products
Following restrictions apply :
If your software is fully functional (it is not a "limited" version) and
you don't charge for it (except for shipping and media), and you don't
make any kind of profit from it, it can be considered freeware.
If your software can be evaluated before buying and you only sell it
directly under your name, it is "shareware".
If your software can be evaluated before buying and it is marketed by a
shareware company, it is "shareware sold by shareware company".
In all other cases, your software is considered commercial. That specifically
includes software developed in-house by your company that uses DSMI.
You may not distribute any of the source code included in the package
with your software. You are allowed to ship the DSMI/2 DLLs with your
product if you rename them (see the documentation for this).
You may not transfer your license to use DSMI to anyone.
Before shipping any product with DSMI/2, you have to notify Julien Pierre
of the inclusion of DSMI/2 in it.
You do not have the right to ship development tools that would give other
programmers access to the DSMI/2 API without paying for the license.
The example programs are for educational purposes only and may not be
sold or given away.
The included source code may be edited anyway you wish, but
original copyright notices must remain in the code.
You are prohibited to disassembly or reverse-engineer the code in this
package.
DSMI/2 is provided as is and author disclaims all other warranties including
but not limited to implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall the author be liable for any loss of profit or any other
commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental,
consequential or other damages.
If you disagree with the terms of this license agreement, you have to delete
all your copies of DSMI/2.
I agree to respect the terms of this license agreement.
