  94. To specify, which CD ROM to use, please look up the names of the Devices in the 
  95. MMPM/2 Setup

  97. By default, the same CD Rom is used, that is selected as default CDAUDIO in the 
  98. MMPM/2 setup.

  250. the mouse, and the changed entry will be saved.

  396. On this page you can convert your cd rom tracks into WAV Files (which may be 
  397. played with the Albatros Media Player)

  399. If Albatros found that your CD ROM can digitally read out tracks, then you find 
  400. these options enabled, otherwise these options will not be enabled (and then of 
  401. course you can't use them) 
  402.

  409. After you specified a drive letter, press Get tracks which will "disconnect"

  435.      The sampled wave data is stored in 44khz / 16bit / stereo

  437.      The conversion of a CD track takes the same time that is used to play the 
  438.       track (reads single speed)

  440.      While you are converting a cd track, you cannot close the settings 
  441.       notebook, and should not close the main player (or "kill" the player 
  442.       otherwise) 
  443.  
  444.      If Albatros CD Player reports, that the CD ROM can use "digital 
  445.       transfer", this does not neccessarily mean, that the CD ROM also supports 
  446.       Digital Readout ! 
  447.  
  448.      Many drives do not support Audio CD track reading over the data bus. This 
  449.       ability is more widespread among SCSI drives than among IDE or ATAPI 
  450.       drives. 
  451.  
  452.      Some CD ROMs claim they can read out digital and even start converting, 
  453.       but then fail on reading the first track (this is due to "el-cheapo" 
  454.       programming of the cd rom). 
  455.  
  456.       When this happens, you will find a "wav file" with the size of 44 bytes. 
  457.       You can then delete this file, because it contains no data. 
  458.  
  459.       Known CD ROMs that behave like this are 
  460.  
  461.         -  Mitsumi ATAPI Drives (8* / 12* speed) 
  462.  
  463.         -  Sony IDE Drives (the 56x or 54x Series) 
  464.  
  465.      Some CD ROMs successfully convert tracks into Wav Data, but the Wav File 
  466.       will sound very "crackling" 
  467.  
  468.       This is due to incorrect sector recalibration of some drives, along with 
  469.       missing error correction 
  470.  
  471.       Known CD ROMs that behave like this are

  475.      Drives that are reported to work (no guarantee)

  647.       drive will automatically be loaded after this.

  649.      This feature can also be used for Jukeboxes, to play multiple audio cd's
