  4. This online document contains additional information about IBM Visualizer 
  5. Charts for OS/2 that was not available for inclusion in the product 
  6. documentation.

  9. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Installing Visualizer Charts for OS/2 ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  11. For Personal AS users only: 
  12.  
  13. If you have Personal AS Version 3 installed and you subsequently install 
  14. Visualizer Charts for OS/2, you must do the following to complete the 
  15. installation of Visualizer Charts for OS/2: 
  16.  
  17.  1. Shutdown, and restart OS/2 
  18.  
  19.  2. Open the OS/2 Templates folder 
  20.  
  21.  3. Delete the template named Chart 
  22.  
  23.     A way to do this is: 
  24.  
  25.     a) From the OS/2 command line, make a new directory. For example, type: MD 
  26.        C:\TEMP 
  27.     b) Select the Move choice from the Chart template icon context menu. 
  28.     c) Select the Path tab in the Move window. 
  29.     d) Type the full path for the directory you have created in step a. 
  30.     e) Select the Move pushbutton. 
  31.     f) From the OS/2 command line, delete the file which is now in the 
  32.        directory you have created in step a. 
  33.     g) Delete the directory you have created in step a. For example, type: RD 
  34.        C:\TEMP 
  35.  
  36.  4. Shutdown, and restart OS/2. 
  37.  
  38. You now have a Visualizer Chart template in the OS/2 Templates folder and a 
  39. shadow of this template in the Visualizer Shadows of Templates folder.

  42. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Illustrations in "Using Visualizer Charts" ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
  43.  
  44. Illustrations of pie charts in the book IBM Visualizer Charts for OS/2: Using 
  45. do not show the tops of 3-dimensional pie charts shaded or colored. This is an 
  46. error in the illustrations. The tops of 3-dimensional pie charts are the same 
  47. color as the sides.
