If no name is specified in the title bar, you will be prompted through the
standard OS/2 File Dialog to specify a name.
The saved file is an HTML document for what you are currently viewing in
RelishWeb. The file can be uploaded to your web server so that others can also
view this Relish information.
You can use the F2 key to save the file without going through the File menu.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 20.2. Help for Save As ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

The View menu is used to specify what is displayed in RelishWeb.
As with Relish, the view in the RelishWeb window can be the more traditional
Daily, Weekly, or Monthly views. It can also be your Phone Book, To Do list,
or cover an arbitrary period of time. Alternatively, you can use drag-and-drop
from Relish to define the view in RelishWeb.
You can limit some of the information that is displayed about the notes:
* The type of notes
* Status of the notes
* Indication that a note repeats
* Indication that a note has an attached memo, and
* For To Do items, the priority
You also have the options to:
* Include graphics in the view and HTML file that is created that are
similar to those used in Relish
* Generate HTML headers and footers as part of the file for the view
* Include a legend at the bottom of the view that defines the graphics
displayed
Lastly, the View menu gives you the option to Refresh whatever is currently
displayed.

dropping from Relish.

view option rather than going through the menu.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 21.8. Help for Refresh View ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Refresh menu option is used to bring the current view up-to-date.
Selecting Refresh causes RelishWeb to recreate what you are viewing. Thus,
changes made in Relish in the interim will be reflected in the refreshed view.
At the same time, if you are having RelishWeb automatically save the HTML file
each time a view is selected, the file will be saved when you refresh as well.
As an alternative, the CTRL+R key combination can be used to refresh the
current view rather than going through the View menu.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 25. Help for View Period ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Period dialog is used to specify the period of time that will be
displayed in RelishWeb.
You should specify the beginning of the period in the Starting time field and
the end of the period in the Ending time field. The information you provide
can be just a date, as in Dec 15. Or, it can include a time, as in 1 PM Dec
15.
As in Relish, the mini-icons in the lower right corner of the dialog can be
used with the mouse to adjust date information in the Starting and Ending

You may wish to use other than the suggested name or path for the created HTML
file. If so, specify the desired path and file name in the File name field.

RelishWeb.
You may wish to use other than the suggested name or path for the created HTML
file. If so, specify the desired path and file name in the File name field.
If you prefer, you can Include an indication in the display that a memo is
attached to a phone book item.

Should you desire specialized help for the field, button, or menu item you
currently have selected, press the F1 key.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 28. Help for View Custom ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Custom dialog is used to change the view in RelishWeb by dragging and
dropping from Relish.
Use the Custom view when you want to create a view in RelishWeb that isn't
attainable with the other View options. Any view you can have in Relish can be
used. Thus you can have just appointments for the week or even just those for
a particular group in your Relish schedule.
To drag and drop what you are viewing in Relish, start with the title in the
Relish summary window (the words that say "Weekly Schedule," for instance) and
drag that to the drop area specified in this dialog and drop it there.
RelishWeb will accept drops from other parts of Relish as well. For instance,
for a day's schedule, drag and drop the date from the Relish reference
calendar. Or, for the month's schedule, drag and drop the title bar icon (upper
left corner) of the monthly reference calendar. Thus, for days and months, you
don't have to be viewing the information to drag it from Relish and drop it
into RelishWeb.
If you prefer, you don't have to use this dialog because you can drop directly
onto any part of the RelishWeb main window. However, the selections made in
the last view dialog still control what is displayed.
You may wish to use other than the suggested name or path for the created HTML
file. If so, be sure to specify the desired path and file name in the
File name field.
If you prefer, you can Include information about the displayed notes such as
their type, status (completed, alarm pending, etc.), repetition, and indication
of a memo.
The three additional Options pertain to the view's appearance. You can include
graphics similar to those used in Relish. You can also generate HTML headers
and footers as part of the file for the view. And, you can include a legend at
the bottom of the view that defines the graphics that are used in the display.
Should you desire specialized help for the field, button, or menu item you
currently have selected, press the F1 key.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 29. Help for Starting and Ending Time ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Starting and Ending time fields are used to specify the date information
for what will be displayed.
For Day, Week, and Month views, specify the relevant information in the
Starting time field. If you provide a time and date - such as you would get by
clicking on the default (diamond) mini-icon - only the date will be used. For
a day, you'll get that day; for a week, you'll get the week that includes the
day; and for a month, you'll get the month that includes the day.
For a Period of time, both the Starting and Ending times and dates should be
included. Time and date information is used in creating the view. Thus, you
can have a period that starts at 1 PM on Nov 15 and ends at 6 PM on Nov 15, for
instance.
For the To Do List, Starting and Ending times are optional. Leave the fields
blank if you want all To Do notes. For To Do notes that fall within a period
of time, include the starting and ending times.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 30. Help for File Name ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The File name field is used to specify the path and name of the HTML file for
what will be displayed.
Initially, a file name is suggested based on the type of view. If you change
the information, be sure that the entire path is included with the file name.
When you OK the dialog, the file name will be displayed in the titlebar for
RelishWeb.
Note, however, that it is the File Options that determine if the file is
actually saved as it is created.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 31. Help for View Include ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Include options allow you to control whether or not some of the information
about the Relish notes is displayed.
Note that check box options are greyed out for views for which they are not
applicable. Information for the selected items will be provided in the
RelishWeb view and the associated HTML file if it is saved.
Select the Note type check box to have a column showing the types of notes
included in what is created.
Select the Note status check box to see the status - such as completion or
deferral - of each note.
Select the Repetition check box to include an indication for notes that repeat.
Select the Memo indicator check box to include an indication for notes that
have an attached memo. The memos themselves will not be included, however.
Select the Priority check box to include the priority of To Do notes. This
option is only available when viewing a To Do List.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 32. Help for View Options ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Options control some visual aspects of the HTML file being created.
Select the Use graphics check box to have Relish-like graphics included in what
is created. The graphics will be displayed in the view in RelishWeb and
included in the HTML file if it is saved.
Select the HTML headers check box to include HTML headers and footers in what
is created and saved. The option provides a special RelishWeb background and
text color to enhance the view.
Select the Legend check box to include definitions of the graphics used in the
created view. If you have also selected the Use graphics option here, the
legend will be displayed in a separate area below the view that is created.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 33. Help for To Do Notes To Include ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
These three options are used to specify the completion status of the To Do
items you will be viewing.
Select All notes to include all the To Do notes in the view, regardless of
their completion status.
Select Only completed notes to view just the To Do notes that are marked done.
Select Only uncompleted notes to restrict the view to the To Do items that are
pending.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 33.1. Help for OK ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The OK button is used to complete the current dialog. The selections made
and/or values entered in the fields are used by RelishWeb to accomplish the
requested actions.
A darker border around this pushbutton indicates that it is the suggested
choice, and thus can be selected using the ENTER key as a short-cut.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 33.2. Help for Cancel ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Cancel button is used to cancel the current dialog. Once cancelled, any
values entered or selections changed during the dialong will not be used by the
program.
Note: The ESC key can always be used as a short-cut to cancel.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 33.3. Help for Help Button ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Help button provides help for the currently displayed dialog.
To activate this function, click on Help. Alternatively, should you desire
specialized help for the field, button, or menu item you currently have
selected, press the F1 key.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 33.4. Help for License ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The License button is used to access license information. RelishWeb operates as
a working model until a valid license number is entered.
A darker border around this pushbutton indicates that it is the suggested
choice, and thus can be selected using the ENTER key as a short-cut.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 34. Help for File Options ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This dialog allows you to specify various options that control how RelishWeb
handles files.
The Default HTML directory indicates where the created files are located.
The Graphics directory information is used by RelishWeb when the HTML files are
created.
Check the Automatically save HTML option if you want the files saved
automatically as they are created. Alternatively, you can use the Save and
Save as options on the File menu to explicitely save your view to a file.
If you want an intervening message rather than automatically overwriting an
existing file when saving, check the Prompt when overwriting option.
Remember, you can get specialized help for the currently selected field,
button, object, or menu item by pressing the F1 key.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 34.1. Help for Default HTML Directory ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Default HTML directory field is used to specify where you want the HTML
files that RelishWeb creates to be located.
This is where files will be located that are saved either automatically or with
the Save option.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 34.2. Help for Graphics Directory ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Graphics directory field is used to specify the location of the images
referenced in the HTML files created by RelishWeb.
If the graphics files are located in the same directory as the HTML files
created by RelishWeb, you do not need to spell-out the entire path. In this
case, enter
.\
If the graphics files are located in a subdirectory of the
Default HTML directory, you can enter their path as
.\GRAPHICS
It is important that this directory contains all of the RelishWeb graphics
(.GIF) files in order for the created pages to include them. This is true both
locally and on your Web server.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 34.3. Help for Automatically Save HTML ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Automatically save HTML check box controls whether or not the files you
create are saved automatically.
When this option is checked, a file is saved each time you select or refresh a
view. The name of the file is specified at the time the view for the HTML file
is selected.
When this option is not checked, you will need to select either the Save or
Save as option (found on the File menu) to save your view to a file.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 34.4. Help for Prompt When Overwriting ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Prompt when overwriting check box controls whether or not you are given the
option to change the file name when overwriting a file.
When this option is selected and a save operation would cause an existing file
to be overwritten, you will be asked to confirm that is what you want.
Answering Yes allows the new file to overwrite an older one. Answering No
essentially cancels the save operation.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 35. General Help for RelishWeb ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
RelishWeb makes a wonderful addition to Relish and Relish Net by giving you the
ability to quickly create HTML documents of Relish information. There really
isn't any limit on what you can do! If you can view it in Relish, you can with
RelishWeb as well.
There's nothing complicated about it. RelishWeb has a View menu that's
basically a simplified version of the Relish View menu. Using it, you can
select the items for a time period, To Do list, or Phone Book. Each of the
View dialogs gives you a set of basic options for visual and informative
enhancements to your page.
There's also an option for a Custom view. This is what you use when you want
to do something different, such as showing only meetings for the month. And
you get there with drag-and-drop!
In fact, if you prefer, you can use drag-and-drop from Relish for everything
you create in RelishWeb. Fine tune what you want in Relish, then drag that to
RelishWeb for the corresponding HTML document. This is pretty slick.
There are options for saving pages automatically, creating partial pages
without the headers and footers, and using graphics for the note types and
status indicators. All things that are aimed at making this the obvious way to
put schedule and phone book information attractively on your web site.
