  5. Welcome to Rolodex/2, an OS/2 utility to store people names, address, phone

  13.  Copy vrobj.dll to a directory in your libpath.  Watcom vrobj.dll version 2.0a

  30.                       startup.cmd file.  This load vrobj.dll at OS/2 startup

  41. If you use Rolodex/2 for more than 15 days, you are expected to register 
  42. Rolodex/2.  When you register, you will receive the registration code for 
  43. Rolodex/2. Plus information of other great products that I have created.

  45. The registration fee is only $20 (US funds) see the ORDER.FRM for details. 
  46.  
  47. Updates and bug fixes are free but shipping charge may apply.  Major new 
  48. releases might require a small upgrade fee.  Users who register Rolodex/2 and 
  49. provide an e-mail address will automatically receive updates via e-mail.

  51. For e-mail registrations, you need to use a program called "uudecode" to decode 
  52. the uuencoded file that I email to you.  For your information, a uuencoded file 
  53. is a binary file that is converted to text by a program called "uuencode".  If 
  54. your mail system rejects large messages, I will split the uuencoded file into 
  55. smaller parts before mailing the parts to you, and you will need to edit the 
  56. messages with a text editor before you can decode them.

  130. You can choose from one of five different button bars.  The only difference 
  131. between button bars is appearance.

  178. from this program.  I have tested this with IBM TCPIP v1.2.1. with CSD & TCPIP

  214. If your fax software can start in an OS/2 window then it should work with 
  215. Rolodex/2.  The parameters for setup option are as follows:

  222.  For examples you own a fax software package call faxme.exe.  In its 
  223.  documentation is say the parameters to use faxme is faxme with -f filename -p 
  224.  fax phone number.  In the fax entry field in setup you would place the 
  225.  following:

  227.      faxme.exe -f %f -p %p 
  228.  
  229.  When you press on the fax in Rolodex/2 it will check to see if the card(s) you 
  230.  have selected have a fax number.  If they do, it ask you what file to fax. 
  231.  Then it will start faxme.exe -f (%f will be replaced with the filename you 
  232.  selected) -p (the fax phone number) in an OS/2 windows.

  281. new sizeable card view.  You can print,  fax, ftp, and email from these card

  344. You can print cards, envelopes and reports from rolodex/2.  You can change the 
  345. order of any field and the spacing for reports.  You can also select and change 
  346. the printer queue you want to print to or print to a file.

  351. Pressing the right mouse button will give a popup menu which has the same 
  352. choices as the card option under the main menu.

  357. Quick view is faster way of viewing a card.  By double clicking on the name 
  358. you want to view, the information about that card will appear below the main 
  359. list.  This is faster way of viewing information than the threaded card view.

  364. Under Card -> Remove, gives you the option to remove all cards from  a group.

  424.      Speed                    - I have loaded several windows when the program 
  425.                                 starts.  This make for a longer load time but 
  426.                                 the add/change, group, fonts, print options all 
  427.                                 work much faster this way. 
  428.      Multi-select             - The main window now allows multiple selected 
  429.                                 objects.  You can select a group of names and 
  430.                                 print their card/envelope/report, delete, view 
  431.                                 the group. 
  432.      Printing                 - I have added more printing options.  Now you 
  433.                                 adjust the spaces, order, width of printed 
  434.                                 printed reports, envelopes, cards. 
  435.      Card View                - There are 2 ways of view a card.  The old 
  436.                                 screen view like add/change card or the new 
  437.                                 sizable window.  Both are now thread and 
  438.                                 support printing, email,ftp, etc from their 
  439.                                 window. 
  440.      Titles                   - The main window and card view titles now show 
  441.                                 which Rolodex/2 file or card you are look at. 
  442.      Fax                      - Any fax software that can start in an OS/2 work 
  443.                                 with Rolodex/2. 
  444.      Modem                    - Any modem/communication software that can start 
  445.                                 in an OS/2 should work with Rolodex/2. 
  446.      Button Bar               - This is now a movable button bar.
