  37. MultiNote is currently in beta. This means that there is a lot of
  38. features added all the time but they are not allways tested as much
  39. as they should.

  41. We release a new public beta when we think we have major new features
  42. to show. We dont try to kill of all bugs since we know that most of you
  43. eagerly wants to try (and use) our new features and dont want to wait !
  44.  
  45. We try to keep the (public) betas bugfree but there is not enough time 
  46. or resources to do that. By releasing public betas we give you as a user
  47. /tester a chance to have the features and you can help ut fix the problems
  48. that we had not had the time to find ourselves.

  50. However if you would like to work more closely with us you can register
  51. as a betatester. If you do that we will give you much more help but we
  52. will also demand things from you.

  55. Even if you do not want to register we still want you to send us your
  56. suggestions/complaints. We will try to help you as much as possible,
  57. but you will not recieve interim versions, technical help etc.

  61. Registered betatester

  63. When you register as betatester you will get the following:

  65. - Interim releases
  66.   If you find a bug that stops you using a specific function, and
  67.   we are able to fix it relativly easy, you will recieve a interim
  68.   version (non-public beta). This version may contain other features
  69.   not yet made public, and may contain new bugs.
  70.   You must keep these interim releases to your self.

  72. - Technical support
  73.   We answer technical questions (by email) and will try to (when we
  74.   have the hw/sw) to replicate/fix problems you have found.

  76. - Forehand information
  77.   We will keep you posted on things to come and give you information
  78.   on other (yet unreleased) products that we plan.

  80. - Free licence
  81.   You will recieve one free personal licence of MultiNote when it is
  82.   released.

  85. What you need to do to certify as a registered betatester:

  87. - Submit bugs (test, test, test...)
  88.   You must submit bug reports. This is the most important thing for
  89.   us. The only way for you to do this the right way is to test our
  90.   product, not just with what you normaly use but test it in any way
  91.   you can.

  93. - Keep quiet
  94.   You may not talk/write about non-public betas and our future plans
  95.   if we not specificly allow you to do that.

  97. - Spread the word
  98.   We want you to help us spread the word about our (public) products.
  99.   Do what you think you can do the best. If you get us a customer that
  100.   want 1000 site licences or you just get a friend to use our products,
  101.   do what you feel that you can do.
  102.   But please mail us so that we know what you have done.
