Labrador is like a pile of little scraps of paper that you jot notes on. Except that with Labrador, you can find them again when you need them.
To make a new note, press the New button.
To get rid of a note, press the Del button.
You can flip between notes by using the "Spin" buttons in the top right corner.
To paste text into a note, click in the note and press SHIFT+INSERT.
To copy text from a note, select it and press CTRL+INSERT.
To find a note, start typing in the search field in the upper left, using a key word or other text that appears in the note you want. As you type, the green number at the right will show how many notes contain the text you've typed. Labrador will 'beep' at you if no notes contain the text you're searching for.
To change the background color of a text entry field, drag a color from the OS/2 color palette and drop it on the field you wish to change.
To change the font used by a text entry field, drag a font from the OS/2 font palette and drop it on the field you wish to change.
Labrador is shareware. Registered users receive an enhanced version which permits the use of multiple data files. The enhanced version also saves and restores user preferences like window position, fonts and colors. To register:
