  4. Why should you register?
  5. Because this way you:
  6.  
  7. A) Receive (via e-mail or snail mail) the uncrippled
  8.    version of MaxBase.
  9. B) Receive for free all the updates up to version 2 for
  10.    MaxBase. [Note: bug-fixes are always seen as 1.X,
  11.    and so do most of the improvements until the program
  12.    is really different from version 1.0, and this won't
  13.    happen in 1997 anyway - I plan to release 1 major
  14.    release for year, with discounts for people who 
  15.    already have an older version].
  16. C) Help the author decide that the developing of MaxBase
  17.    is a worthy cause, so he will be encouraged to add
  18.    many enhancements to it. :-)

  22. With "program", it is intended the whole set of .class files included
  23. in this package.

  25. If you have received this program as shareware, be warned that you
  26. have a period of 30 days to evaluate it, then you must choose:

  28. 1) if you want to continue using this product, you must pay for it.
  29.  
  30. MaxBase can be registered via BMT-Micro - please see the end of the
  31. document.

  33.  Register fees are:
  34.   US Dollars   29 .. for the standard edition (full local database
  35.                       + server able to receive 2 clients at once)
  36.   US Dollars   89 .. for the extended edition (full local database
  37.                       + server able to receive all the clients 
  38.                       it can handle at once)

  40. 2) if you don't like this program, or are unable to contact the author,
  41. you *must* stop using the program and you *must* uninstall it after the
  42. 30 days period.

  44. 3) If you build an application with RXDbase, a *small* one-time fee
  45. must be paid to the author (contact me for details).

  201. Persons in Germany wishing to order shareware may also transfer funds
  202. into our account with Deutsche Bank.   Once the money is deposited you
  203. may either fax a confirmation to us with proof of deposit or wait until
  204. Deutsche Bank notifies us of the transaction (usually 10-18 business days).

  220. either email or fax if you deposit money into this account for a
  221. registration.  Fill the order form out as usual except in the credit
  222. card number field put "DEUTSCHE BANK".   We will file the order and
  223. use it to match against the deposit information we receive from the

  229. acknowledgement.   If you do not get an acknowledgement within 24 hours
  230. please send your order again in case it was lost.  This extra bit of
