Installation of EuroDial is very simple. Unzip the file into a directory, E:\EuroDial say. If
you going to use the sound option, move the two WAV files into your \MMOS2\Sound Bites directory,
if they are not already there. If you use PKUnZip make sure you specify the -D option to preserve
the directory structure. The OS/2 Info UnZip does this automatically.
EuroDial needs the latest VX-REXX runtime support module VROBJ.DLL. This is available in the
CIS OS2USER forum, library 15, filename VROBJ21D.ZIP. The VROBJ.DLL file should be placed in your
\OS2\DLL directory, where it may be used by all VX-REXX applications.
You can easily create a program object for EuroDial by right-clicking on the EXE file and selecting
Create Another from the context-menu. You will be offered a dialog where you specify which folder
the object will be placed in (one of which is, of course, the desktop).
The first time you execute EuroDial the Settings notebook will be invoked. Enter the appropriate
values into the Codes and Modem pages and remember to click the SET buttons to commit the values.
Failure to do this will probably prevent EuroDial from working correctly.
This version is 1.1. New features include:
. Auto redial on busy signal
. FastCall Objects
. A user expandable icon library
. Split container views
. Numerous minor bug fixes
This is version 1.2 and probably the last. This version includes:
. Secondary windows run on their own threads
. Phone book entries have a notes page
. Commas allowed in phone numbers for pauses
. Bug fixes
Enjoy!
