  42.           a) Overview: scan of the complete scan area with minimum resolution
  43.                        and "highest" scan mode. This enables you to perform a 
  44.                        rough frame selection. The last overview is saved to disk.
  45.           b) Preview: normal preview to perform a detail selection.

  68.           Edit the config.sys, append the line
  69.                   BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD /SHARE
  70.           This line MUST NOT exist twice !!!
  71.           **************************************************
  72.         - Please shut down your system and reboot. 
  73.         - Run the sample application shipped with the driver package 
  74.           and select 'Acquire' in the 'File' menu or the scanner icon in the 
  75.           toolbox of the program; now the CFM Twain driver window will 
  76.           become visible. If the name of your scanner is not shown in the big 
  77.           button of the lower left corner of TWAIN window please click on 
  78.           this button. The scanner selection window comes up and shows a list 
  79.           of scanners detected at your host adapters. Select a scanner and close 
  80.           the window with the OK button. 
  81.           You cannot select a scanner with a trailing (N/A). For these scanners
  82.           you don't have a driver in this package or the scanner has not been 
  83.           configured in the "scanner.ref" file. 
  84.           You can select a different language and other window options by 
  85.           choosing <Scanner> - <Options> in the menu of the Twain window.

  107. (De-)Installing CFM Twain for OS/2
  108. -------------------------
  109.    Please run INSTALL.EXE located on the first disk to (de-)install 
  110.    this package.
  111.    The install program checks for a previous installation and enables
  112.    you to deinstall this package.
  113.    If you like to deinstall CFM Twain for OS/2, simply check the 
  114.    'Delete and reinstall' checkbox and press 'OK'. You can select 
  115.    which components should be deleted. When the delete process has
  116.    finished the install program will
  117.       - stop because the CONFIG.SYS has been changed:
  118.         the selected parts of the package have been removed.
  119.       - start the normal installation part:
  120.         simply abort the new installation, the selected parts of 
  121.         the package have been removed.

  171.           a) Übersicht: gescannt wird die komplette Scanfläche mit kleinster Auflösung bei

  174.           b) Vorschau: Scan des ausgewählten Bereiches zur Voransicht und weiteren Auswahl.

  197.           Öffnen Sie bitte die Datei config.sys mit einem Editor, und fügen Sie 
  198.           am Ende der Datei die folgende Zeile ein:
  199.                   BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD /SHARE
  200.           Dieser Treiber darf NICHT zweimal geladen werden !!!
  201.           **************************************************
  202.         - Bitte fahren Sie Ihr System herunter und booten neu.
  203.         - Starten Sie das kleine, mitgelieferte Programm. Wählen Sie 
  204.           'Acquire' im Menüpunkt 'File' oder das Scannersymbol in dem 
  205.           Toolfenster, damit das Treiberfenster sichtbar wird.
  206.           Wenn der Name Ihres Scanners nicht in dem großen Button links 
  207.           unten im Twainfenster erscheint, klicken Sie bitte auf diesen Button.
  208.           Es erscheint das 'Scanner Auswahl' -Fenster, in dem die am 
  209.           Hostadapter erkannten Scanner aufgelistet werden. Wählen Sie
  210.           einen dieser Scanner aus und schließen Sie das Fenster mit OK.
  211.           Scanner mit dem Namenszusatz (N/A) sind nicht auswählbar, da für
  212.           sie kein Treiber mitgeliefert oder in der Datei "scanner.ref" 
  213.           konfiguriert wurde.
  214.           Eine deutsche Oberflächensprache und andere Oberflächenoptionen 
  215.           können Sie über den Menüpunkt <Scanner> - <Options> in dem 
  216.           erscheinenden Notebook anwählen.

  238. (De-)Installation von CFM Twain für OS/2
  239. ----------------------------------------
  240.    Bitte starten Sie INSTALL.EXE von der ersten Diskette, um das Paket
  241.    zu (de-)installieren.
  242.    Das Installationsprogram prüft auf eine bereits erfolgte Installation
  243.    und ermöglicht die Deinstallation des Pakets.
  244.    Wenn Sie CFM Twain für OS/2 deinstallieren wollen, klicken Sie bitte
  245.    auf 'Delete and reinstall' und danach auf 'OK'. Sie können auswählen 
  246.    welche Komponenten deinstalliert werden sollen. Wenn die Deinstallation
  247.    komplett durchgeführt wurde wird sich das Programm
  248.       - beenden, weil die CONFIG.SYS verändert wurde:
  249.         CFM Twain für OS/2 ist wieder von Ihrem Rechner entfernt.
  250.       - starten des Installationsteils für die Reinstallation:
  251.         bitte beenden Sie diesen Teil einfach mit 'Cancel', CFM Twain 
  252.         für OS/2 ist wieder von Ihrem Rechner entfernt.
