IMPORTANT: If you have just purchased In Charge, the
registration number is on the first diskette. You will
need to enter it when you first start In Charge. Please
send your registration card. When we receive it we will
send you the latest modification level of the program free.
HOW TO ORDER:
If you have tried the In Charge Demo system and would like to
order the full function version, the price is $79.00 USA plus
shipping. Georgia residents will be charged 6% Georgia sales tax.

REGISTRATION:
Be sure to send in your registration card.
All registered users of In Charge receive:
1. A free update to the latest modification level of In Charge
mailed to them at the time the registration card is received.
The update includes fixes for all problems reported to date
and many enhancements to the program. (Note: if you purchased
In Charge directly from Spitfire Software, the update is
already included in your package.)
2. Free support from Spitfire Software for both application
questions and problem resolution.
3. The Spitfire Software Newsletter periodically which
contains the latest information on In Charge and other
Spitfire Software products including helpful hints, future
enhancements, and update information.
4. Discounts on future releases of the program.
HARDWARE\SOFTWARE REQUIRED:
In Charge runs under IBM OS/2 Warp (3.x). The hardware
required is:
1. Any PC or PS/2 compatible computer.
2. A fixed disk with at least 20MB of available space.
INSTALLATION:
If you have received In Charge on a diskette or CD-ROM, skip to
install-part 2. If you have downloaded the In Charge demo or
modification level update from the Spitfire Software Internet
home page, CIS or a BBS you must first do
the following:
1. Save the downloaded file(s) in a temporary directory and
install from that directory.
2. When you have received In Charge electronically, it is
packed into a file(s) using PKZIP(r) by Pkware, Inc. You
must obtain a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE or the OS/2 freeware
program UNZIP.EXE to unpack the file. Most BBS's disk have
copies of both programs available for down loading.
3. To unpack In Charge into the directory to which you down
loaded it, make that directory the default directory.
At the OS/2 command prompt enter the command:
PKUNZIP INCrmm.ZIP
or
UNZIP INCrmm.ZIP
(or (PK)UNZIP INCrmm_A.ZIP, INCrmm_B.ZIP,... for however
many files made up the download) where rmm is the
release/modification level.
Installation, part 2:
1. If installing from diskette, place the distribution
diskette #1 in your diskette drive.
2. At the OS/2 prompt enter: "D:\PATH\INSTALL" where D
is the drive letter of the diskette or fixed drive you
are installing from and, if installing from a fixed
disk, PATH is the path to the directory containing the
In Charge distribution files. For example to install from
diskette drive A, you would enter:
A:\INSTALL
To install from the directory DOWNLOAD on fixed disk
drive C, you would enter:
C:\DOWNLOAD\INSTALL
3. Answer the questions asked by the install program. Help
is provided for for each question or option.

This site provides the latest information on the status of InCharge.
You can download both the demo package and the latest modification
level of In Charge from the home page. Please note that only
registered users of In Charge who subscribe to the Electronic
Upgrade Service or new users who have received both a serial number
and subscription key will be able to install the latest modification

You can also download the latest modification level or Demo
of In Charge from the CompuServe OS2AVEND Forum Library 4.
RECOVERING A LOST INCHARGE FOLDER ON THE DESKTOP:
If the InCharge folder disappears from you desktop, you can recover it
with the following steps:
1. Open an OS/2 Command Line window.
2. Enter the command to change the current drive to the drive containing
the InCharge program directory (e.g., "G:" where "G" is the drive
containing the InCharge program directory).
3. Enter the command to make the InCharge program directory the default
directory (e.g., "CD \INCHARGE" where the path to the InCharge
directory is "\INCHARGE").
4. Enter the command to start the InCharge Install program (i.e.,
"INSTALL").
5. Check to be sure the destination path points to the InCharge program
directory. If it does not, enter the correct path.
6. Click on the "Make Folder" button.
7. Exit the Install program.
8. Close the OS/2 Command Line window.
At this point the InCharge folder should be on your desktop. If not,
please contact Spitfire Software for help.
