  78.     HARDWARE\SOFTWARE REQUIRED:

  80.     In Charge runs under IBM OS/2 Warp (3.x). The hardware 
  81.     required is: 
  82.   
  83.     1.   Any PC or PS/2 compatible computer. 
  84.   
  85.     2.   A fixed disk with at least 20MB of available space. 
  86.   
  87.   
  88.     INSTALLATION: 
  89.   
  90.     If you have received In Charge on a diskette or CD-ROM, skip to 
  91.     install-part 2. If you have downloaded the In Charge demo or 
  92.     modification level update from the Spitfire Software Internet 
  93.     home page, CIS or a BBS you must first do 
  94.     the following: 
  95.  
  96.     1.   Save the downloaded file(s) in a temporary directory and 
  97.          install from that directory.
  98.   
  99.     2.   When you have received In Charge electronically, it is 
  100.          packed into a file(s) using  PKZIP(r) by Pkware, Inc. You 
  101.          must obtain a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE or the OS/2 freeware
  102.          program UNZIP.EXE to unpack the file. Most BBS's disk have
  103.          copies of both programs available for down loading. 
  104.   
  105.     3.   To unpack In Charge into the directory to which you down 
  106.          loaded it, make that directory the default directory. 
  107.          At the OS/2 command prompt enter the command: 
  108.   
  109.                          PKUNZIP  INCrmm.ZIP 
  110.  
  111.          or
  112.  
  113.                          UNZIP INCrmm.ZIP  
  114.   
  115.          (or (PK)UNZIP INCrmm_A.ZIP, INCrmm_B.ZIP,... for however 
  116.          many files made up the download) where rmm is the  
  117.          release/modification level.

  120.     Installation, part 2: 
  121.   
  122.     1.   If installing from diskette, place the distribution 
  123.          diskette #1 in your diskette drive. 
  124.   
  125.     2.   At the OS/2 prompt enter:  "D:\PATH\INSTALL"   where D 
  126.          is the drive letter of the diskette or fixed drive you 
  127.          are installing from and, if installing from a fixed 
  128.          disk, PATH is the path to the directory containing the 
  129.          In Charge distribution files. For example to install from 
  130.          diskette drive A, you would enter: 
  131.   
  132.                              A:\INSTALL 
  133.   
  134.          To install from the directory DOWNLOAD on fixed disk 
  135.          drive C, you would enter: 
  136.   
  137.                          C:\DOWNLOAD\INSTALL 
  138.   
  139.     3.   Answer the questions asked by the install program. Help 
  140.          is provided for for each question or option.

  183.     RECOVERING A LOST INCHARGE FOLDER ON THE DESKTOP:
  184.  
  185.     If the InCharge folder disappears from you desktop, you can recover it
  186.     with the following steps:
  187.  
  188.     1. Open an OS/2 Command Line window.
  189.  
  190.     2. Enter the command to change the current drive to the drive containing
  191.        the InCharge program directory (e.g., "G:" where "G" is the drive
  192.        containing the InCharge program directory).
  193.  
  194.     3. Enter the command to make the InCharge program directory the default
  195.        directory (e.g., "CD \INCHARGE" where the path to the InCharge
  196.        directory is "\INCHARGE").
  197.  
  198.     4. Enter the command to start the InCharge Install program (i.e., 
  199.        "INSTALL").
  200.  
  201.     5. Check to be sure the destination path points to the InCharge program
  202.        directory. If it does not, enter the correct path.
  203.  
  204.     6. Click on the "Make Folder" button.
  205.  
  206.     7. Exit the Install program.
  207.  
  208.     8. Close the OS/2 Command Line window.               
  209.  
  210.     At this point the InCharge folder should be on your desktop. If not,
  211.     please contact Spitfire Software for help.
