  5.         MOUSE DOES NOT WORK IN WINOS2 USING WARP 3.0

  9. SYMPTOM:
  10.     1.  In a WINOS2 full screen session there IS a white
  11.         mouse pointer in the middle of the screen.  The mouse
  12.         does not move.
  13.  
  14.     2  In a seamless WINOS2 session, the mouse pointer is
  15.        black on the OS/2 desktop.  When the mouse pointer is
  16.        moved over the seamless session, the pointer turns
  17.        into an hour glass.

  19.     In both cases the keyboard works.

  22. RESOLUTION:

  24. Check the IRQ settings, there is probably an IRQ confilct
  25. between serial ports. If mouse is on COM1, then disable COM3 or
  26. assign it to another IRQ.  You can change COM3 and COM4 IRQ's and
  27. address, for example:

  29.       X:\OS2\COM.SYS(3.03e8,2)
  30.  
  31. NOTE:
  32.  
  33.     If you want to use IRQ5, LPT port #2 must be disabled.
  34.  
  35.     If you use IRQ 2 or 9, remember that these are cascaded
  36.     IRQ's.
