  13. DESCRIPTION

  15. When playing midi files, the timing is off. This occurs in the Calkwalk 
  16. v2.0 application, and is also be found in other windows sequencers 
  17. (midisoft).

  19. RESOLUTION
  20.  
  21. Setting the TimerMaxRes statements in the SYSTEM.INI file to 1 resolves
  22. much of this problem, but there are still slowdowns when the disk is 
  23. being accessed. This is due to the preemptive multitasking under OS/2 
  24. and because priority is given to disk access.

  26. This is a permanent restriction under the current release. Development 
  27. is working to resolve this problem for future releases.
