  13. DESCRIPTION
  14.  
  15. This document describes how to enable the Pro AudioSpectrum 16 audio 
  16. adapter to run OS/2 MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) files 
  17. in WIN-OS/2 or Windows.
  18.  
  19. Note: According to the online Multimedia book in the Information folder,
  20.       the Pro AudioSpectrum 16 audio adapter cannot run these files in
  21.       Windows.

  23. RESOLUTION
  24.  
  25. Use the following procedure instead of the one in the online Multimedia 
  26. book.
  27.  
  28. After installing the Windows drivers:
  29.  
  30.  1. Open Windows (full-screen or window session).
  31.  
  32.  2. Open Main Folder if it is not already open.
  33.  
  34.  3. Select Control Panel.
  35.  
  36.  4. Select MIDI Mapper icon.
  37.  
  38.  5. Select Edit to edit the MIDI Mapper.
  39.  
  40.  6. Change the Port name for SRC Channels 1 through 4 to Voyetra OPL-3
  41.     FM Synth.
  42.  
  43.  7. Select OK.
  44.  
  45.  8. Select Yes to save the changes.
  46.  
  47.  9. Select Close to close the MIDI Mapper.
  48.  
  49. 10. Close all windows and return to the Desktop.
