  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. Doom II (Version 1.666 or later) does not run in a DOS Full Screen 
  15. session if Sound/FX is enabled to use a sound card. The same problem 
  16. exists with Doom I if the NIGHTMARE skill level is present. Previous 
  17. versions of Doom without the NIGHTMARE skill level work with Sound/FX 
  18. enabled.

  20. The problem is not dependent on a particular sound card.
