  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. While installing OS/2 Warp 4 on a ThinkPad 755cdv with a PCMCIA CD-ROM, 
  15. the installation locks up at the OS/2 Warp Logo screen.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19.   1. Insert OS/2 Warp 4 Installation Diskette in drive A: and restart 
  20.      the system.
  21.  
  22.   2. Insert Diskettes 1 and 2 when prompted.
  23.  
  24.   3. Press F3 at the Welcome Screen to escape to a command prompt. 
  25.  
  26.   4. Insert OS/2 Warp 4 Diskette 1 in drive A:.
  27.  
  28.   3. Type TEDIT A:\CONFIG.SYS, then press Enter.
  29.  
  30.   4. Press Esc.

  32.   5. Change BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD to BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD /a:0 /bm.

  34.   6. Press F4 to save and exit the file, then restart the system.
