--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION

To view the BASEDEV=AHA154x.ADD statement documentation:
1. Double-click on Assistance Center.
2. Double-click on Information.
3. Double-click on Reference and Commands.
4. Double-click on OS/2 Warp Command Reference.
5. Click on the (+) next to OS/2 Commands by Name.
6. Double-click on BASEDEV.
7. Under the heading Storage Adapter Support, double-click on
Adaptec SCSI Adapter Products.
8. Double-click on AHA154X.ADD.
The /DBUFF parameter is not documented.
RESOLUTION
The /DBUFF parameter ensures that the user buffer for direct memory
access (DMA) operations is available to an ISA bus by duplicating the
buffer below the 16 MB boundary. Specify this parameter when your
computer has more than 16 MB of physical memory and uses ISA SCSI host
adapters. If this parameter is not specified, system performance might
be reduced if the user buffer resides above the 16 MB boundary.
This parameter has no effect on a computer with less than 16 MB of
physical memory.
