  10. DESCRIPTION

  12. At this time it is not possible to save printer settings in 
  13. IBM Works from the BonusPak; IBM Works is accessing the OS/2 
  14. desktop printer object's settings and will always reset to 
  15. default when the application is shutdown.

  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19. There are two workarounds available:
  20.  
  21. * Avoid shutting down IBM Works until a total system shutdown is
  22.   necessary, or until you no longer plan to print from IBM Works
  23.   in a particular time frame. OS/2's multitasking capabilities
  24.   allow you to have several applications running simultaneously. 
  25.  
  26. * You can access the Job Properties settings from the Printer 
  27.   Driver page of the OS/2 desktop printer icon. If you do not
  28.   want to change the default settings for the whole system, 
  29.   create a new printer object, using the same printer output 
  30.   port and printer driver, but changing the printer driver 
  31.   Job Properties. Then, the only change you must make in 
  32.   IBM Works is to tell it to use this new printer object.
