--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This document provides instructions for using the UNPACK command.

* The UNPACK command must reside on your hard disk.
* The UNPACK command is on Diskette 2 as the following file:
- Blue labels for OS/2: UNPACK.EXE
- Salmon labels for OS/2: UNPACK2.EXE
- Green labels for OS/2 for Windows: UNPACK2.EXE
* If you have OS/2 installed and get the error message that a file is
missing, you can find the location of the file in the INSTALL.LOG
file:
1. Type CD\OS2\INSTALL and press Enter.
2. Type E INSTALL.LOG and press Enter.
3. Select Options.
4. Select Find.
5. Type the name of the missing file.
Putting the UNPACK Command on Your Hard Disk
--------------------------------------------
1. Insert OS/2 Diskette 2 in drive A.
2. Type UNPACK A:\filename_of_bundled_file x:\path /N: and press Enter.
For example:
UNPACK A:\BUNDLE C:\OS2 /N:HPFS.IFS
To copy a file using the CD-ROM, go to a command prompt:
1. Perform a shutdown. If you are unable to, turn off the system off
for at least 30 seconds.
2. Insert the Installation Diskette in drive A.
3. If you performed a shutdown in step 1, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
the system. If you turned the system off in step 1, turn it back on.
4. When prompted, remove the Installation Diskette and insert Diskette
1; then press Enter.
5. When the Welcome screen appears, press Esc, to go to the A: prompt.
If you installed from CD, the command prompt stops at the CD drive
in the DISK_1 subdirectory. Type x:\OS2SE21\DISK_2 and press Enter
to change to the DISK_2 subdirectory (x is the CD-ROM drive).
Note: UNPACK is on Diskette 2.
UNPACK with CD-ROM
------------------
It is recommended that you make a diskette from the images on CD-ROM.
Instructions are in the README.INS file on the image of Diskette 3, and
can be viewed and printed in both DOS and OS/2. If you installed from
CD, it is recommended that you create the diskette. Type the following
and press Enter after each (x is the letter of the CD-ROM drive, and
size is the diskette size--35 for 3.5-inch and 525 for 5.25-inch):
x:\DISKIMGS\LOADDSKF
x:\DISKIMGS\OS2\size\DISP1.DSK A:
If you are using CD-ROM, you need to unpack OS2CDROM.DMD, which is in
the bundled file CDROMREQ on the following diskette:
* Blue labels for OS/2: Diskette 10
* Salmon labels for OS/2: Diskette 12
* Green labels for OS/2 for Windows: Diskette 5
The UNPACK command is on Diskette 2 and must be on the hard disk. An
