  5.         TITLE:  HOW TO LOG ON AND DOWNLOAD FROM THE IBM BBS (919-517-0001)
  6.  
  7.         DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
  8.  
  9.         1.  Double click on the OS/2 System icon.
  10.         2.  Double click on the Productivity icon
  11.         3.  Double click on the PM Terminal icon.
  12.         4.  Double click on IBM PUBLIC BBS.
  13.         5.  Change the phone number from 404-835-6600 to 919-517-0001, and
  14.             save.
  15.         6.  Choose dial to call the BBS.
  16.  
  17.         When you connect to the BBS, it will ask you the following
  18.         questions.

  20.         7.  Name(F)   JOHN
  21.         8.  Name(L)   SMITH
  22.         9.  Answer Yes (Y) to register
  23.         10. Yes (Y) for Ansi graphics if your system can handle it
  24.         11. Select a password   SUNNY
  25.         12. Re-enter password   SUNNY
  26.         13. City,state     BOCA RATON, FL
  27.         14. Model # if you are using a PS/2 System / type the model and
  28.             press enter or press enter if you are not using a PS/2.
  29.         15. Phone #    541-254-1463

  31.         It will then ask you a separate set of questions:

  33.         16. How did you hear of us    IBM
  34.         17. Street Address   1 SOUTH STREET
  35.         18. City,state,zip   BOCA RATON, FL, 33418
  36.         19. How many times do you think you will call    10
  37.         20. Do you make or influence PC buying for your company   YES or NO
  38.         21. Will this support influence your next computer Purchase YES or NO
  39.  
  40.         You will then see the Welcome screen.  Press enter to read the
  41.          news. Choose No if you do not want to read the news. You will then
  42.          come to a Welcome screen/Main Menu.

  44.         23. Type S to search for a file and then press enter
  45.         24. ie. 21wpsf.*  - the BBS will then be searched
  46.         25. When it finds the file type M to mark the file
  47.         (ie. A,B,C,D)  (A) 21WPSF.ZIP 152100 10-27-93 OS/2 2.1 SHUTDOWN FIX
  48.         26. Q for quit
  49.         27. You will then be at the Main screen.  Type D to download the file.
  50.         28. M for marked files
  51.         29. It will then display all of the files that you marked to down-
  52.             load.  For example, one file was marked, so it will be
  53.             displayed as: (A) 21WPSF.ZIP.  Choose A to download this file.
  54.         30. It will then ask you for a protocol chose X modem.
  55.         31. Choose auto logoff if you want to disconect after the transfer.

  57.         IF YOU KNOW THE FILE NAME

  60.         2.  The file name
