  8.        Making the Boot Manager Startable:  If you installed the
  9.        Boot Manager partition but the Boot Manager startup menu
  10.        does not appear as expected when you start the system, you
  11.        will need to make the Boot Manager partition startable.  Do
  12.        the following:

  14.        1. Insert the Os/2 Installation Diskette into drive A.
  15.  
  16.        2. Press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press DEL to restart the
  17.        system.
  18.  
  19.        3. When prompted to do so, remove the Installation
  20.        Diskette, insert Diskette 1, and press Enter.
  21.  
  22.        4. When the Welcome screen is displayed, remove the
  23.        diskette from drive A.
  24.  
  25.        5. Press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press Del to restart the
  26.        system.

  28.        If this does not work:
  29.  
  30.        Delete the existing partition (which you have backed up):
  31.        a. Press Enter to display the Options menu.
  32.        b. Select Delete Partition and press Enter.
  33.  
  34.        Create the Boot Manager partition and install the Boot
  35.        Manager:
  36.        a. Press Enter to display the Options menu.
  37.        b. Select Install Boot Manager and press Enter.
  38.        c. Select Create a Start of Free Space and press Enter
  39.  
  40.        You should now have made the Boot Manager Startable.
