USING THE NOTEPAD

Please Read Entire Document For Full Explanation of Procedures

Function:
The Notepad is designed to keep your personal notes. It
contains 5 pages, each page is 180 characters wide and
25 lines tall. The notepad pages are stacked on top of each other
with the top line of each page always being visible.
The Notepad problems in OS/2 2.0 were corrected in OS/2 2.1.
Examples:
When you start Notepad, a window appears with a blank
Notepad.
Creating a new notepad file:
1. Select File.
2. Select New.
3. Begin typing notes
To save the file:
1. Select File.
2. Select Save.
Selecting one of the five pages:
1. Move the mouse pointer to the top of the desired page.
2. Press mouse button 1 and the page becomes the current page.
Adding graphics:
1. Move the cursor to the place you want a graphic on the
notepad.
2. Select Edit.
3. Select Graphics.
4. Highlight the graphic you want to add.
5. Press select.
