INSTALLING OS/2 WARP from a PHILLIPS LMS205 CD-ROM
================================================================
The LMS205.ADD CD-ROM driver is not on Diskette 1 with the other
CD-ROM drivers due to space condsiderations. If you have a
Phillips LMS205 CD-ROM and ARE INSTALLING from the CD-ROM Version
of OS/2 WARP, please do the following:
1. Start the system with OS/2 or DOS.
2. Make a temporary subdirectory on your hard disk, type:
MD TEMP and press Enter.
3. Insert the OS/2 WARP Installation diskette into drive A.
Copy the LMS205.ADD driver to the temporary subdirectory on
the hard disk, type:
COPY A:\LMS205.ADD c:\TEMP and press Enter.
(Where c: is the hard disk)
4. Insert the OS/2 WARP Diskette 1 in the 3.5" A: drive. Make
sure you have a blank, formatted 1.44 MB diskette ready.
5. From a command prompt type:
DISKCOPY A: A: and press Enter.
6. Follow the prompts.
7. Put the ORIGINAL OS/2 WARP Diskette 1 away and use the
DISKCOPY of Diskette 1 for the remainder of this procedure.
7. From the DISKCOPY of Diskette 1, delete the file LMS206.ADD:
DEL A:\LMS206.ADD and press Enter.
8. Copy the LMS205.ADD driver from the temporary subdirectory to the
DISKCOPY of Diskette 1:
COPY c:\TEMP\LMS205.ADD A: and press Enter.
9. Edit A:\CONFIG.SYS on the DISKCOPY of Diskette 1 and change the
statement:
From: basedev=lms206.add
To: basedev=lms205.add
10. Start OS/2 WARP installation using the DISKCOPY of Diskette
