  12.     This patch is for Back Again/2 Personal Edition v3.00b only. It
  13.     cannot be used to upgrade an evaluation version or the Professional
  14.     Edition of Back Again/2.  Please call (612)730-4156 if you have any

  18.     Installation
  19.     ------------
  20.     Listed here are step by step instructions for applying this update
  21.     to your installed copy of Back Again/2 Personal Edition.
  22.  
  23.         1) End Back Again/2 if it currently active on your system.
  24.  
  25.         2) Run the BA2DEREG.CMD script in your Back Again/2 directory to
  26.            de-register the BA/2 Backup Device Workplace Shell Object.
  27.  
  28.         3) Delete any existing BA/2 Backup Device Workplace Shell
  29.            objects on your system including the SCSITAPE:1, Drive A:,
  30.            and templates located in both the Back Again/2 folder as
  31.            well as the OS/2 Template folder.

  33.         4) Delete the file BA2DEV.DLL from your Back Again/2
  34.            directory. Do not delete any other files; they will be
  35.            updated as needed. If you cannot delete this file, ensure
  36.            that you have executed steps 2 and 3 above and that no
  37.            other Back Again/2 device objects exist on your system.

  40.         5) Copy the files BPPATCH.EXE and PER310.PAT to your Back
  41.            Again/2 directory (usually C:\BA2).  Make sure that Back
  42.            Again/2 is not running; this patch cannot be applied if
  43.            Back Again/2 is active. At the OS/2 prompt, enter the
  44.            command

  46.            BPPATCH PER310.PAT
  47.  
  48.            ...and press enter.

  50.         6) When the update utility has completed, run the BA2DESK.CMD
  51.            script to update the Back Again/2 folder.
  52.  
  53.     At this point your copy of Back Again/2 has been upgraded to
  54.     v3.10.  Please review the new READ.ME and other online
  55.     documentation files for information about the new features present
  56.     in this version.
