  8.         1.  Window control DLL would cause failure in SETUP.EXE program
  9.             for Hilgraeve KopyKat, or any other package that used
  10.             InstallShield 16 bit installation utility.

  12.         2.  Close button would not always appear on some applications
  13.             depending on load order or closing an application while
  14.             another is loading (OD-010).

  16.         3.  Fixed problems with PM Applications with 8K stack, such
  17.             as Back Again/2 Make Service Diskettes Utility (MAKESR.EXE)

  21.         4.  Fixed non-selectable areas in .INF files viewed in

  37.         1.  CPU meter would sometimes "stick" at 0% (it would never

  42.             folder fly-out menu will no longer "stick" to the
  43.             desktop. (OD-CC-010)

  45.         3.  Locked windows would not match partially by window
  46.             title fragment as documented (OD-CC-014,OD-CC-016).

  48.         4.  Top-level windows owner by a locked window would not be
  49.             identified as a locked window.

  76.         2.  Clicking on a task button corresponding to a fullscreen
  77.             session would no switch to fullscreen session.

  79.         3.  Hint positioning on buttons near top of the screen when
  80.             in tabs on bottom or tabs on top mode will no longer
  81.             result in hint appearing slightly off-screen. (OD-TLP-001).

  83.         4.  When hint is active, you may now invoke a context menu on
  84.             a button, or activate the button (clicking the button

  152.         1.  IBM Search Manager/2 product would not display contents of
  153.             search folder results with Object Desktop installed.

  155.         2.  Performance has been improved in icon cache lookup,
  156.             resulting in better response times with HyperDrive feature
  157.             of Enhanced Folder and Object Navigator, and for displaying
  158.             icons in the Object Archives objects.

  160.         3.  HyperDrive now uses proper icon for Workplace Shell data
  161.             file subclass instances with a custom default class icon.
  162.  
  163.         4.  Dragging non Workplace Shell objects from some applications
  164.             (such as WebExplorer) onto Object Desktop object's view
  165.             windows could cause an internal but non-fatal trap.
  166.             Affected objects are: Object Archive, Keyboard LaunchPad,
  167.             Object Navigator (Fast Path), Control Center, and Tab
  168.             LaunchPad.

  170.         5.  OS/2 Warp Create Utility Disks program (BOOTDISK.EXE)
  171.             would fail before formatting floppy when Object Desktop

  174.         6.  Seamless Windows applications now display proper icon
  175.             in the Tab LaunchPad Tasks tab, the Control Center,
  176.             and the Task Manager Enhanced Window List and Alt+Tab

  180.             the Tasks Tab of the Tab LaunchPad or from the Keyboard
  181.             LaunchPad would not cause the minimized folder to be

  192.             Task List item set for the top-level window.

  198.         11. Elements displayed in subcomponents (subfolders) of an
  199.             Object Archive were not always selectable.

  201.         12. If multiple object archives were open with contained
  202.             elements viewed and one archive was closed (of the same
  203.             type), objects could remain cross-hatched in the
  204.             remaining object archive views.

  206.         13. Window position was previously stored for each archive
  207.             view but not properly restored at all times.

  209.         14. Deleting an object archive while a view of the archive
  210.             was currently open would cause a condition where a
  211.             background worker thread would never shut down.

  213.     Keyboard LaunchPad:

  215.         15. The Keyboard LaunchPad window initialization code is now on
  216.             a thread to keep the user interface from hanging while
  217.             opening the definitions view.

  219.     Object Navigator:

  221.         16. A trap would occur in the Object Navigator if non-disk
  222.             objects were created/moved in the Drives object folder.

  224.         17. The Object Navigator is no longer a target object listed in
  225.             the Workplace Shell Copy/Move/Create Shadow/Create Another
  226.             dialogs. Instead, the folder currently displayed in the view
  227.             is listed in the target dialogs.

  229.         18. A slight offset of the current folder displayed in the tree
  230.             view of the Object Navigator has been corrected when system
  231.             is running in 1024x768 resolution or greater.

  233.         19. Performance improvement displaying folder contents.

  235.     Control Center:

  237.         20. The Control Center displays drives over 1 Gig now as a
  238.             fraction of the size (eg. 3.5G). (OD-CC-006)

  240.         21. Optimized repaints of virtual desktop to minimize system
  241.             cycles taken.  When window activation is detected, a 1/2
  242.             second delay is used to keep from taking CPU away from
  243.             seamless windows applications that startup and use
  244.             multimedia on startup.

  246.         22. Network drives and other drive types can now be added as
  247.             sections even when they are not available.
  248.  
  249.         23. Changed Control Center default priority (used during
  250.             installation) to match documentation (default=Normal).

  252.         24. Dropping multiple objects onto a browser object inside the
  253.             Control Center when in accept drop mode would cause multiple
  254.             drop events to occur.  This caused multiple confirmation
  255.             dialogs to appear for dropping objects onto the shredder,
  256.             for example.

  258.         25. Dropping multiple objects onto a virtual desktop pane inside
  259.             the Control Center would not open all objects, just the
  260.             first one.

  262.         26. The Control Center is no longer a target object listed in

  266.     Tab LaunchPad:

  268.         27. The Tab LaunchPad icons may now be rearranged using
  269.             drag/drop operations within the top-level tab as per
  270.             documentation.

  272.         28. Tab LaunchPad would previously not respect task list filter
  273.             set by Object Desktop Task Manager.

  275.         29. Tab LaunchPad could trap internally during bootup when a
  276.             large number of objects were restarted by the shell,
  277.             possibly causing a system hang.

  279.         30. At times during startup, the Tab LaunchPad would show icons
  280.             displayed 1/2 off vertically.

  282.         31. The Tab LaunchPad is no longer a target object listed in the

  296.     1.  Possible window deadlock could occur causing system instability
  297.         during paint thread in Control Center with some seamless windows

  300.     2.  HyperCache thread priority boosted to eliminate possible boot
  301.         problems.

  303.     3.  IBM Tutorial window corruption occurred.
  304.  
  305.     4.  Conflict resolved with other Workplace Shell products that
  306.         necessitated installing either/or products due to some features
  307.         missing with Object Desktop.  Examples: Deskman/2, Workplace
  308.         Security.
  309.  
  310.     5.  Object Archives would show the wrong icon for contained objects
  311.         when the temporary folder (set by "SET TMP=, SET TEMP=, or the
  312.         <WP_NOWHERE> folder") for a system has an open view on the
  313.         desktop.
  314.  
  315.     6.  When using marquee selection (drawing a box on the background to
  316.         select objects) on an Enhanced Folder, drawing corruption would
  317.         occur on the edges of "raised" or "sunken" view styles.
  318.  
  319.     7.  Installation utility (not included with FixKit) has been updated
  320.         to fix selective Uninstall defect where all objects were
  321.         disabled after subsequent reboot.

  323.     8.  Level of code should set to v1.01 in Help->About.

  325.     9.  Tab LaunchPad object title hints will no longer move (usability
  326.         defect).

  333.     1.  Seamless Windows dialogs no longer have title bar corruption
  334.         when moved.

  336.     2.  Setting default icon of a folder to point to a folder inside the
  337.         OS/2 templates folder will no longer cause the desktop to appear
  338.         as a "folder" window.

  340.     3.  Control Center hangs with Windows seamless sessions have been
  341.         resolved.
  342.  
  343.     4.  Control Center can now monitor remove and removeable drives.
  344.  
  345.     5.  Control Center will not "shift" all windows from one virtual
  346.         desktop to another when switching desktops (was sporadic).
  347.  
  348.     6.  Contol Center would try to retrieve some windows that had
  349.         a very small size (<= 10x10), when these are really "hidden"
  350.         windows.
