  1. dcf/2 version 1.2e dcf2shut.dll update

  3. this zip file contains an updated dcf2shut.dll which corrects some sound
  4. generation timing problems when using dcf/2 together with os/2 multimedia.

  6. unzip the dcf2shut.dll file and copy it into the os/2 boot drive in the
  7. directory \os2\dll\dcf2shut.new.
  8.  
  9. stop and restart your computer.  let the dcf/2 control processed startup.

  11. after the os/2 presentation manager loads, check the \os2\dll directory to
  12. insure the dcf2shut.new file no longer exists.  if it does, shutdown, restart,
  13. and when the dcf/2 startup manager menu prompts, hold down either control keys
  14. to launch an os/2 command processor.  at the os/2 prompt, rename the
  15. \os2\dll\dcf2shut.new to \os2\dll\dcf2shut.dll.  type 'exit' to continue with
  16. dcf/2 initialization.
