  6. WARNING: You must have OS/2 Multimedia support installed to execute
  7. GTIRC once this corrective service is applied.
  8.  
  9. NOTE: You MUST use binary mode to download the CSD file. If you fail
  10. to use binary mode then installation of the CSD will fail.

  12. This CSD file contains corrective service for the GammaTech Internet
  13. Relay Chat Version 3.0 To install the corrective service, follow the
  14. procedure described in the GammaTech Internet Relay Chat documentation.
  15.  
  16. NOTE: This CSD may only be applied to the commercial release of
  17. GtIrc version 3.0 software. If you are running a previous version, a
  18. beta or demo version of GammaTech IRC do not download the CSD file
  19. because you will be unable to install it.

  21. Corrective Service files are cumulative. The latest CSD file contains
  22. fixes found in all previous CSD files.
  23.  
  24. To determine if you should apply this CSD, go to an OS/2 command
  25. prompt and CD to the GTIRC directory. From there execute the GtLevel
  26. command. If the CSD level shown there is less than this CSD level
  27. there are fixes here you may wish to install. A list of fixes and
  28. their dates are shown below.

  30. If while attempting to apply this CSD you encounter the error
  31. message pop-up with the title which reads "Base Level Invalid", it
  32. means that the version information stored in the INI files could
  33. not be found. This information was placed there during the
  34. installation of the base product, but is no longer there. You must
  35. reinstall the base product and then apply this CSD.
