  46.   2.0   General Notice regarding the IBM LAN Adapter/A for Ethernet Option

  50.   The IBM LAN Adapter/A for Ethernet Option Diskette is a "bootable"
  51.   diskette.  That is to say, the user can insert the diskette in the
  52.   computer's A: drive and boot the system from the diskette.
  53.  
  54.   The reason for this feature is to facilitate installation and testing
  55.   of the adapter as described in the "Installation and Testing Instructions"
  56.   document shipped with this product.
  57.  
  58.   The Option diskette contains an executable file for a program called
  59.   "TEST".  This program allows the user to run a diagnostic program in the
  60.   computer that will test the function of all the installed IBM LAN
  61.   Adapter/A for Ethernet products.  Refer to the Installation and Testing
  62.   Instructions provided with this adapter for more information on using
  63.   the TEST program.

  67.   3.0   Attention OS/2 Users!
  68.   ---------------------------

  70.   The TEST program is a DOS-only executable program.  It will not run
  71.   under OS/2.  Hence, OS/2 users will either boot their system from the
  72.   IBM LAN Adapter/A for Ethernet Option Diskette when they wish to
  73.   execute the TEST program or they can run TEST under a DOS shell.
