IBM OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette Version 1.02
====================================================
What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette can avoid screen blackout
while OS/2 installation into ThinkPad systems. If you have no
problems to install OS/2, you don't need to use this diskette.
The following models are supported:
ThinkPad 760C, 760CD, 760L, 760LD,
ThinkPad 760E, 760EL, 760ED
ThinkPad 365X, 365XD
ThinkPad 560

Updating Program
----------------
When installing Warp:
1. Start installing OS/2 Warp.
2. When prompted to remove diskette 1 and restart the computer, insert
the OS/2 Installation Diskette and restart the computer instead.
3. Continue the installation, following the instructions on the screen,
until the "Welcome" screen appears.
4. Press F3 and go to the command prompt.
5. Insert the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette(this diskette) into the
diskette drive A.
6. Type the following command at the command prompt.
The video driver files will be replaced.
a:²repvga c
where c is the drive where OS/2 Warp is installed.
7. Remove any diskettes from the diskette drive, then restart the
computer.
8. When selecting a video driver, select a VGA display driver.
9. When prompted to remove any diskettes and restart the computer,
insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette and restart the computer
instead.
10. Continue the installation following, the instructions on the
screen, until the "Welcome" screen appears.
11. Press F3 and go to the command prompt.
12. Insert the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette(this diskette) into the
diskette drive A.
13. Type the following command at the command prompt.
The video driver files will be replaced.
a:²repvga c
where c is the drive where OS/2 Warp is installed.
14. Remove any diskettes from the diskette drive, then restart the
computer.
15. Install the SVGA(800x600 or more with 256 colors or more) video
mode driver using the "ThinkPad Video Features Diskette for OS/2".
