This is a year 2000 package that contains the updates
require to OS/2 TCP/IP to make it year 2000 compliant.
The applications that required changes for Year 2000
compliance are:
FTP Server, NewsReader/2, Syslogd (part of TCPUNX.DLL),
and Tcpcoex.exe.
NOTE: Before replacing the current versions of the executables/dlls
provided in this package, please verify that the dates are
later than the versions on your system. If they are not, then the
version you have should already contain the Year 2000 updates
because the fixes are cumulative, in which case you should NOT
replace the versions on your system.
The file v30y2k.exe is a self extracting zip file that contains
all of the changed files. To unzip in the current directory, type
v30y2k .

Please replace the following dlls in the TCPIP\DLL
directory.(Even if these dll's are not there originally
copy it to TCPIP\DLL).

tnls32.dll
setloc1.dll

Apar IC19681 changes the FTPD component of TCP/IP v3.0 to
be Year 2000 compliant.
Please replace the following executables in the TCPIP\BIN
directory to apply the fix:
ftpd.exe
ftpdc.exe
ftpdtrc.exe

Apar IC18438 changes the NR2 component of TCP/IP v3.0 to
be Year 2000 compliant.
Please replace the following executables in the TCPIP\BIN
directory to apply the fix:
nr2.exe

Apar IC18444 changes the SYSLOGD component of TCP/IP v3.0 to
be Year 2000 compliant.
Please replace the following executables in the TCPIP\DLL
directory to apply the fix:
TCPUNX.DLL

Apar IC18635 changes TCPCOEX.EXE of TCP/IP v3.0 to
be Year 2000 compliant.
Please replace the following executables in the TCPIP\BIN
directory to apply the fix:
