To create a diskette from the DSK file:
- Insert a blank diskette into the A: drive
- At a DOS prompt type "LOADDSKF <filename>.DSK A:" and press Enter
(note that <filename> should be the name of the file that contains the
original disk image.)
- Follow the instructions on the screen
Example: If the disk image file you received is "R700C111.DSK" then you would
type the following at a DOS prompt:
LOADDSKF R700C111.DSK A:
and then press Enter.
If you receive a message stating that an incorrect disk format was detected, it
means that the original disk image was on a different density disk than the one
you inserted in the A: drive. For example, if you inserted a high density
(1.44M) disk in the A: drive and the disk image was created from a 720K disk
you would get the following error message:
Target disk is wrong format
Expecting 2 side(s) - 80 tracks - 9 sectors per track
To correct the problem simply replace the disk in drive A: with the correct
density disk and re-enter the LOADDSK command at the DOS prompt.
