  1. This directory contains the latest module replacements for slip, ppp,
  2. and slippm for TCP/IP V4.0. All service is cumulative via module replacement.

  5. Pre-reqs:

  7.    - OS/2 Warp V4, with TCP/IP V4.0, component id 5639A6600, and
  8.      MPTS, component id 5639B1700, R510.

  10. Contents:
  11.     3-25-97   2:47p    184577           0  ppp.exe     - revision 1.18b
  12.     3-25-97   6:33p    113152           0  slip.exe    - revision 1.29a

  14. Instructions:

  16.    Download SLIP_PPP.EXE and enter:
  17.       SLIP_PPP .
  18.    to unpack the files. Copy the resulting .exe files to x:\tcpip\bin,
  19.    where "x:" is the drive on which you installed TCP/IP. Be sure to
  20.    replace all copies of of the .exe files in your PATH.

  23.    To verify the correct installation of slip.exe, at an OS/2 command prompt
  24.    enter:
  25.       slip -?
  26.    The first 3 lines of output should be:
