  7. This package consists of three files that you have just UNZIPed:
  8.  
  9.    READ2003.ME     These instructions
  10.    P390FIX.CMD     The P/390 Fix install/removal program
  11.    P3902003.FIX    The P/390 fixes at level 2.00.3
  12.  
  13. 1) This fix package can be installed on P/390 Program level 2.00.1 (the
  14.    first "General Availability" level that was shipped with the PC Server
  15.    500 S/390) or level 2.00.2 (the first P/390 fix pack). Fix pack 2.00.3
  16.    is cumulative, i.e., it includes everything that was in the previous fix
  17.    pack, so you do not need to install both, only the latest one.
  18.  
  19.    If you run the OS/2 SYSLEVEL command, it will (eventually) display the
  20.    level of P/390 Programs that are installed.  Look for the one that says
  21.    d:\P390\SYSLEVEL.AWS.
  22.  
  23. 2) Make sure the three files in this package are in the same place, e.g. D:\
  24.  
  25. 3) Make sure you have stopped:
  26.    - Communications Manager   (use CMSTOP)
  27.    - P/390 I/O subsystem      (use End P/390 icon)
  28.    - All other P/390 programs (close the windows)
  29.  
  30. 4) Run the Fix install program:
  31.        P390FIX
  32.    You will be prompted for the drive (d:) where the \P390 subdirectory
  33.    is located. The default is whatever is in CONFIG.SYS SET PATH statement.
  34.  
  35.    Note: If you are a Personal/370 customer (and have a d:\P370 subdirectory)
  36.          then type:   P390FIX P370
  37.  
  38. 5) Shutdown and reboot OS/2 for changes to take effect.
  39.  
  40. 6) Be sure to test this fix pack thoroughly with your applications before
  41.    putting the fix pack into production!

  46.         d:\P390\REGRESS
