  1. The following NTS/2 modules need to be replaced in order for NTS/2 to
  2. successfully install on OS/2 2.1.
  3.  
  4. LAPSCID.DLL
  5.    - In attempting to execute a CID install of NTS/2 on an OS/2 2.1 system
  6.      the following message occurs indicating that the installation of NTS/2
  7.      has failed:

  9.      XI00108: LAPS was unable to read or update the IBMLVL.INI file correctly.
  10.               Since the install status of LAPS is undefined, LAPS will be
  11.               removed from the system.

  14. LAPSPM.DLL
  15.    - LAPS fails to add the NTS/2 VDD/PDD statements in the config.sys when
  16.      installing and/or configuring on an OS/2 2.1 system.

  19. Where to replace LAPSCID.DLL and LAPSPM.DLL:
  20.  
  21. 1). CID Servers
  22.        - Locate the sub-directory on the CID Server where the NTS/2 image was
  23.          loaded via the LAPSDISK utility.  The recommended sub-directory
  24.          where NTS/2 image is loaded is: \CID\IMG\LAPS
  25.          Both modules are located in the \IBMCOM\DLL sub-directory.
  26.          Copy both LAPSCID.DLL and LAPSPM.DLL fixes into this sub-directory.

  28. 2). NTS/2 installed system
  29.        - Both modules are located off the boot drive in the \IBMCOM\DLL
  30.          sub-directory.  Copy both LAPSCID.DLL and LAPSPM.DLL fixes into
  31.          this sub-directory.

  33. 3). NTS/2 LAPS diskette (NTS/2 diskette 1)
  34.        - Both modules are located in the \IBMCOM\DLL sub-directory on the
  35.          NTS/2 LAPS diskette.  Copy both LAPSCID.DLL and LAPSPM.DLL fixes
  36.          into this sub-directory.
