  14. * THIS IS ONLY A LIST OF THE FixPaks THAT ARE AVAILABLE for LS 4.0.    *
  15. * LS 3.0, MPTS, and NTS/2.  Some ServicePak information is included.   *
  16. *                                                                      *
  17. * In the future all service for the products listed above will be      *
  18. * changed to conform to PSP Products naming conventions.  All Future   *
  19. * service will be referred to as FixPaks.  There will be two types     *
  20. * of FixPaks, Public and Controlled;                                   *
  21. *                                                                      *
  22. *   o Public FixPaks - All service formerly known as ServicePaks       *
  23. *     will be known as Public FixPaks.  All FixPaks that have          *
  24. *     completed the moderate FixPak testing required before they       *
  25. *     can be placed for general availability will also be known        *
  26. *     as Public FixPaks.  Any FixPak that is generally available       *
  27. *     to the public in electronic, or diskette media is a Public       *
  28. *     FixPak.                                                          *
  29. *                                                                      *
  30. *   o Controlled FixPaks - This is the formal name for FixPaks         *
  31. *     that are available in fixtest status.  They are updated          *
  32. *     and maintained by the LAN Server L2.5.  Controlled FixPaks       *
  33. *     are then placed on a Server accessible to L2 service team        *
  34. *     members.  If it is determined that a licensed customer needs     *
  35. *     a fix, or an APAR that is included in a Controlled FixPak,       *
  36. *     then the Controlled FixPak(s) will be sent to the customer.      *
  37. *     The problem will then be monitored in a PMR until the problem    *
  38. *     has been resolved.  Once a Controlled FixPak successfully        *
  39. *     completes the FixPak test requirements it will become a          *
  40. *     Public FixPak.                                                   *
  41. *                                                                      *
  42. *   o U.S. FixPaks will have a PTF created in Retain.  This will       *
  43. *     provide an easy tracking method for service.  APARS that are     *
  44. *     included, and PTFs that were superseded, plus any information    *
  45. *     relevant to the FixPak will be included in the PTF.              *
  46. *                                                                      *
  47. * NOTE:  All ServicePaks listed below are available in diskette media  *
  48. * as well as electronic media.  Public FixPaks that are generally      *
  49. * available will have a note below it with the electronic location,    *
  50. * and the naming convention used when it was originally sent to the    *
  51. * distribution points.  Please contact your BBS or disk owner if you   *
  52. * have difficulty locating a Public FixPak.                            *

  77. *             the above application scenarios are not being used, it   *
  78. *             is not necessary to apply this ServicePak.               *
