  5. THE MODULES IN THIS FIX PACKAGE ARE OFFICIAL BUILDS BUT MAY NOT HAVE
  6. BEEN FULLY TESTED ON ALL LEVELS OF THE PRODUCT.

  8. In order to avoid software inconsistencies, all the modules contained in
  9. this package must be applied to the machine being serviced.
  10.  
  11. As a precaution, the original modules should be renamed before applying
  12. the fix versions.
  13.  
  14. Some modules may be in use and may require booting from diskette in order
  15. to rename originals and apply fix updates.
  16.  
  17. The package also contains matching symbol files with the extension of
  18. .SYM. These files are only required for debugging purposes and do not
  19. need to be applied unless instructed by OS/2 Defect Support.
  20.  
  21. The deliverables are U.S. ( English ) versions only.
  22.  
  23. If modules are being applied for OS/2 RIPL requesters, the directories
  24. listed below will be preceded by \IBMLAN\RPL unless otherwise noted
  25. and will apply to the RIPL server of the requesters.
