Multimedia Modem v1.00 -> v1.02 upgrade changes:
To use the new update files, the new files must be extracted from the
file named "CSDMM102.DSK". To make a diskette with the new files use
LOADDSKF. If you do not have LOADDSKF it to may be downloaded from the
IBM BBS at phone number 919-517-0001. At the system command prompt in
the directory where LOADDSKF.EXE is located;
Type "LOADDSKF d:CSDMM102.DSK b:" Where d is the source drive where the
file CSDMM102.DSK is located, and b is the target drive where the new
files will be created.
WINDOWS

1. Setup:

These two files should be copied onto the root of the Windows Mwave
disk #1. The two files add the following features:
- Improved Mwave DiskSpace detection.
- OS2 Warp Full Pack support added.
- Improved Uninstall of Mwave on systems using QEMM and other Memory
Managers
- Installs correctly on machines that have Windows on a different drive
than DOS
- Improved uninstall...v1.00 left an empty mwgames.drv■ section.
- Product section added to the MWAVE.INI file

2. Full Duplex Speaker Phone:
spk07dx.dsp
This file is normally installed to "C:\DSP2\MWW\FAXTAM". Spk07dx.dsp
fixes the following problems:
- Little or no feedback from the microphone through the speakers with
this file.
- "Wave" noises are no longer present during speaker phone conversations.
- Sound quality of speaker phone is improved.
3. Manager
MEIOSLWW.DRV
This file is normally found in the C:\DSP2\MWW\MANAGER directory.
This file:
- Gives improved Rapid Resume functionality.
- Allows for CD sound through the speakers ONLY if AUX=CD.
- Improved volume control on the audio control panel.
4. CONFIGURATION
configw.exe
This file is normally found in the C:\DSP2\SOHO directory.
Changes:
- COM IRQ and CD BASE ADDRESS problems fixed.
- Copyright changed to 1995
- NEW OBI default setting for the board.
DOS
----
1. Installation:
install.exe
This file should be copied to the root of Mwave DOS disk1. Installing
using this EXE sets "MWGAMES ON" as the default in the AUTOEXEC.BAT.
2. Configuration
configw.exe (SEE WINDOWS).
OS2
----
1. Setup:
setup.ins
install.cmp
These two files should be copied to the root of Mwave for OS/2 disk #1.
Changes in setup.ins :
- Bug fixes for Uninstall - remove Mwave Audio driver for OS/2 V2.11 from
CONFIG.SYS.
- Product section added to the MWAVE.INI file

- Checks appropriate min. disk space required to install Mwave for OS/2.
- setup.ins allows for variable destination directory name.
- fixed problem where system beeps during Mwave OS/2 installation.
Changes in install.cmp :
- Added product name and default directory name for OS/2 install. These values
are required by setup.ins to perform the installation appropriately .
2. Full Duplex Speaker Phone
spk07dx.dsp
This file is normally copied into the "C:\DSP2\MWOS2\DSP", depending on where Mwave OS/2 is
installed.
SEE Windows (Full Duplex) for spk07dx.dsp specifics.
3. CONFIGURATION

mwbd0700.sys
These 2 files are found in "C:\DSP2\MWOS2\BIN", depending on where Mwave OS/2 is installed.
Changes:
- Copyright changed to 1995
- NEW OBI default setting for the board.
- the "CD-ROM Type" setting can now be stored.
4. MULTIMEDIA MODEM EXTENSION
setup.cmd ( for WARP )
This file should be copied to the root of OS/2 WARP Audio Disk #1.
Changes :
- Auxiliary Control icon is created first before executing MINSTALL.EXE .
