  7. This package consists of three INF files which are used with the VIEW
  8. utility of OS/2.  These INF files contain identical information
  9. as is contained in the FIXES.TXT, FIXES015.TXT and FIXES016.TXT files
  10. that are shipped with OS/2 EE CSD WR05050.
  11. This same information is available through the PS2ASST PACKAGE,
  12. though in a different format.

  15. The information contained in these files is primarily a list of the
  16. APARS that have been fixed by this and previous CSD's.  By using
  17. VIEW, it is much easier to scan or search the entries for specific
  18. APAR's.
  19.  
  20. To use this facility, download the three INF files (in binary mode)
  21. and issue the command :

  23.      VIEW FIXES015+FIXES016+FIXES050
  24.  
  25. Alternatively, you can set an environment variable in your CONFIG.SYS
  26. such as :
  27.  
  28.      SET FIXES=FIXES015+FIXES016+FIXES050
  29.  
  30. You may then use the command :
  31.  
  32.      VIEW FIXES
  33.  
  34. Make sure the INF files are either in the current sub-directory or in a
  35. referenced in your BOOKSHELF path.
