  1.  Replacement IBMKBD.SYS file for Warp Beta II.  Fixes hang on install
  2. and 'missing special keys' bugs.

  6. Fix:

  8. IBMKBD.SYS - Fixes problems with keyboards "special" keys and install hangs.
  9.  
  10.              To install, copy these over the current version on diskette 1
  11.              and also replace on the HD in \os2\boot directory after the
  12.              first reboot. You may have to use the ALT-F1 trick to get a
  13.              command prompt when the "bloB" is in the upper left corner.

  16. Installation:
  17.  Copy IBMKBD.SYS to diskette 1 of the install disk(s). This applies to both
  18. the CDROM version and the diskette version. This will allow the install to
  19. complete the first stage.
  20.  Once the first phase of the install is done (asks for a reboot) you will have
  21. to also update the version on the HD. You can interrupt the boot and gain
  22. control during the boot by pressing the ALT and F1 (ALT-F1) keys when the
  23. indicator ("blob" in upper right corner of screen) shows. This will bring up
  24. an emergency correction facility. One of the options in the facility is a
  25. command line prompt ("C" key). Take the command prompt and use the dir command
  26. (dir IBMKBD* /s) to locate the installed version. Will usually be in the
  27. \OS2\BOOT directory. Copy the updated version of IBMKBD.SYS over the one on
  28. the HD.
  29.  You should also verify this version is installed on the HD after install
  30. is fully completed and also after any changes to the system via selective
  31. install.
