  20. ERROR DESCRIPTION:                                             
  21. DosRead at the volume level will hang the system after a few   
  22. times.                                                   
  23.                                                                
  24. (The following assumes that C: is the drive where OS/2 is installed on)
  25.  
  26.     To Install the Private Fix do the following:
  27.  
  28. 1. Reboot with the Installation Diskette
  29. 2. Insert diskette #1 and press RETURN and then at the
  30.     Welcome Screen press ESC to go to an OS/2 2.0 command prompt.
  31. 3. RENAME C:\OS2\HPFS.IFS to HPFS.BAK
  32. 4. Copy the NEW HPFS.IFS file  to  C:\OS2                     
  33.     to replace the OLD HPFS.IFS.
  34. 5. Reboot your machine
