  6. PROBLEM SUMMARY: System hangs with the 2456 SCSI scanner under OS/2 2.0
  7.                  with IWPM/2.
  8.  
  9.    This fix requires one file to be copied to your OS/2 2.0 system
  10.    hardfile. The file is IBM2SCSI.ADD.

  15.    Note: The current file IBM2SCSI.ADD will be reanamed to IBM2SCSI.OLD.
  16.    To install this fix, follow these steps :

  18.    1. Boot your system with the OS/2 2.0 Installation Diskette.
  19.  
  20.    2. When the IBM Logo appears, insert diskette 1 then press Enter.
  21.  
  22.    3. When the WELCOME PANEL appears, press ESC.
  23.  
  24.    4. Remove the diskette 1 from drive A.
  25.  
  26.    5. Change drive and directory to where fixes are located.
  27.  
  28.    6. Enter APAR# X: Y:
  29.                         X: is the drive where the OS/2 2.0 is installed
  30.                         Y: is the drive where the fixes are located
  31.                            (Specify the subdirectory name if fixes are
  32.                             located in a subdirectory).
  33.       Ex: PJ04056 C: A: or
  34.           PJ04056 C: A:\TMP

  36.    7. Reboot your system.
