  9. This KERNEL file contains fixes for these following problems:

  11. APAR PJ03686 / PTR B736191
  12. PROBLEM SUMMARY: OS/2 2.0 Swapper.dat file does not shrink.
  13.  
  14. APAR PJ03733 / PTR B752328
  15. PROBLEM SUMMARY: When two or more processes perform DOSDELETE function
  16.                  to the same server while using UNC file path names OS/2
  17.                  system will deadlock. The processes deadlocked include
  18.                  any DOS file I/O which require access to the same drives.
  19.  
  20. APAR PJ04081 / PTR B735516
  21. PROBLEM SUMMARY: IPE occurs at location 150:4912 which is a "rep stosd"
  22.                  inside the BlastSFT. (AUTOCAD problem)

  45. Note: The current OS2KRNL will be renamed to OS2KRNL.OLD.
  46.  
  47.   This fix requires the KERNEL FILE to be replaced in the 2.0 system.
  48.   To replace the kernel file follow these steps:
  49.  
  50.    1. Change drive and directory to where fixes are located.
  51.  
  52.    2. Enter FIXKRNL X: Y:
  53.                        X: is the drive where the OS/2 2.0 is installed
  54.                        Y: is the drive where the fixes are located
  55.                           (Specify the subdirectory name if fixes are
  56.                            located in a subdirectory).
  57.       Ex: FIXKRNL C: A: or
  58.           FIXKRNL C: A:\TMP
  59.  
  60.    3. Reboot your system.
  61.
