  1. This is a fix for PJ04052.
  2.  
  3.  Unpack the file supplied into a directory or diskette
  4.  Shutdown the system
  5.  
  6.  1) Boot from the install diskette
  7.  2) Insert diskette 1 when prompted
  8.  3) At the prompt, hit ESC to back out to a A: prompt
  9.  4) Rename x:\OS2\HPFS.IFS HPFS.GA  (x: is the OS/2 boot drive)
  10.  5) Copy the new HPFS.IFS into x:\OS2
  11.  6) Reboot

  14. It fixes the problem of CHKDSK reporting SWAPPER.DAT errors.

  16. Copy HPFS.IFS over the existing HPFS.IFS in the OS2 directory, shutdown
  17. and reboot. It should also fix the CPS:extent problem too.
  18.
