  1. This is a fix for PJ03837
  2.  
  3.  Unpack the files supplied here into a directory or diskette..
  4.  Shut down the system...
  5.  
  6.  1) Boot from the install diskette
  7.  2) Insert diskette 1 when prompted
  8.  3) As soon as you can, hit ESC to back out to a command prompt
  9.  4) Rename x:\OS2\DLL\PMGRE.DLL PMGRE.GA   (x: is the boot drive for OS/2)
  10.  5) Copy the new PMGRE.DLL into x:\OS2\DLL
  11.  6) Rename x:\OS2\DLL\PMWIN.DLL PMWIN.GA
  12.  7) Copy the new PMWIN.DLL into x:\OS2\DLL
  13.  8) Reboot...

  16. It fixes the BLACK ICON problems. You only need the PMWIN.DLL if you are
  17. NOT running with an XGA display. Copy both files to the OS2\DLL directory
  18. and shutdown and re-boot.
