This is a collection of railway-related icons for the OS/2 Workplace
Shell, version 3.
The icons marked below with an asterisk are contributions by Brad D.
Clark (clark@brahms.amd.com). I have converted them from Windows 3.x
format with CvtIcons, and added a 40*40 format to most of them.
I have created the icons marked with a plus, using the built-in OS/2
icon editor.
I am still looking for the old British Rail logos and everything
that is still missing. There are or will be a number of new railways
in Europe (CD, DBAG, HZ, LG, LVD, SZ, ZSR) mostly with no logos yet.
These icons exist in Windows 3.x format as well.
My address:
Tobias Benjamin Köhler, Leopoldstrasse 32, De-76133 Karlsruhe
telephone (voice): ++49-721-23218
e-mail address: s_koehler@iravcl.ira.uka.de
logo: see tbk.ico
-- LEGAL NOTE --
Whoever modifies these icons should send the creator a copy. Some of
these logos might be registered trademarks, so that they may not be
used freely, especially for commercial purpose.
-- FORMAT --
These are icons for OS/2 2.0, most of the files contain two forms:
32*32 and 40*40 (16 colors), for VGA and higher. Several of the
icons have a changed palette that is stored in the file. The `&'
sign has a special meaning in OS/2 command line sessions (it is used
to separate several commands in a row) and is not recognized as a
part of the filename. For example, B&O.ico could only be referred to
as B^&O.ico or "B&O.ico". To avoid such difficulties, I have
eliminated all the `&' signs in the filenames and replaced them by
hyphens (-). I have avoided filenames longer than 8.3 characters or
with spaces, so that even those with FAT disks can enjoy these
little pictures.
